The sub will go under and go to another location (there are only two locations so once you learn them you can fly over and beat him to it) so follow him and do the same thing (fire, cover, heal, repeat). Has anyone gotten this achievement (Resistance is not futile) I have tried like 10-20 times but just can't do it. Once your missile is read to use repeat the process. Your going to hover up shoot a few repulors and then shoot your missile (y button) and then land. You can't take this thing head on so fly to the top of the valley and land on the ground. The final boss is a sub that seems to have a semi-auto missile firing gun with lasers. If you lose 3 your still okay but you just have to be careful on the final boss. To unlock this achievement you must not hit the destroyer and its crew in the mission entitled "Lost Destroyer" which is the 8th mission.
